About George R. Fowler Jr.

George R. Fowler, Jr. completed his primary course work for a Master of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute,School of Architecture in Troy,New York in 1993. George also received a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota in 1988 and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 1984. Joining Levin/Brown in 1997, George has been an Architectural Project Manager on numerous synagogue projects and other commercial buildings. Some recent projects include Temple Sinai, Las Vegas, Nevada a 45,000 sq ft renovation and addition, a 20,00 sq ft re-roofing project for Temple Israel in St. Louis Mo, Or Atid of Richmond VA, comprehensive renovation/addition. In 2009 Mr. Fowler also consulted on Gamberi Regional Hospital, 65,00 sq ft – Gamberi, Afghanistan, for the army corp of engineers developing a new prototype hospital.
Prior to joining Levin/Brown, George worked with Kann & Associates, Inc. of Baltimore from 1995 to 1997 concentrating on nursing homes/assisted living facilities, large-scale retail projects and some historical restorations. He spent the prior year with D. R. Brasher, Architects, Inc. of Columbia,MD working on large scale commercial and corporate projects and heading a Small Projects Team for commercial renovations and additions. From 1988 to 1994, George worked with several firms expanding his skills in the areas of surveying, construction documents and shop drawings and custom residential design and detailing.
