New Campus Design & Long-Term Master Planning
Grace Community Church is a ground-up, multi-building campus designed from the outset to support worship, education, and community life at scale, with a master plan that anticipates future growth and expansion. Architecture, site organization, and building systems were coordinated to create a unified campus capable of evolving alongside a fast-paced and innovative congregation.
The 1,200-seat sanctuary anchors the campus as a contemporary worship environment defined by clarity, volume, and performance. Tiered seating, integrated lighting, and carefully calibrated acoustics support music, teaching, and large congregational gatherings while maintaining focus and visual connection across the room. Architectural finishes and ceiling geometry reinforce scale without overwhelming the worship experience.
A dramatic, contemporary lobby serves as the primary connective space across the campus. Defined by expansive glazing, multi-story volumes, and strong visual transparency, the lobby functions as both gathering space and circulation spine. Natural light, open sightlines, and clear wayfinding allow the space to accommodate large crowds before and after services while maintaining a welcoming, energized atmosphere.
Youth and children’s facilities are housed in dedicated buildings designed with distinct architectural character and interior identity. Teen spaces emphasize flexibility, durability, and acoustics suited to active programming, while children’s environments are organized around safety, visibility, and engagement. These buildings connect seamlessly to the main campus while allowing programs to operate independently.
Pre-engineered building systems were used strategically to achieve efficiency, speed of construction, and long-term adaptability. Through careful architectural coordination, these systems were shaped to support complex program needs while maintaining a cohesive campus aesthetic and clear organizational logic.
From the beginning, the campus was master planned to accommodate future additions without disrupting daily operations. Levin|Brown continues to collaborate with Grace Community Church on ongoing planning and future phases, supporting the long-term vision for expansion and continued campus development.
