New Building & Complete Campus Design
This project involved the design of a new, modern synagogue building conceived as part of a comprehensive campus plan for Congregation Beth El. The architecture establishes a clear civic presence while reinforcing the synagogue’s role as both a spiritual and community anchor.
The building is organized around a light-filled entry sequence that creates a strong sense of arrival and orientation. Curved glazing, masonry volumes, and carefully scaled massing work together to balance transparency with permanence. The façade composition integrates contemporary materials and proportions while remaining approachable and welcoming.
Interior spaces were planned to support worship, education, and gathering, with an emphasis on intuitive circulation, flexible programming, and strong visual connections between spaces. Natural light is used strategically to enhance the experience of the sanctuary and communal areas, reinforcing a sense of openness and reflection throughout the building.
The broader campus design addresses pedestrian flow, accessibility, and site organization, allowing the new structure to connect seamlessly with existing facilities while positioning the congregation for long-term growth. Together, the architecture and site planning create a cohesive, modern campus that supports both daily use and large community events.
